Collection of Information
We collect personally identifiable information, like names, postal addresses, email addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by our clients. The information you provide is used to track your case. This information is only used to track your case, unless you give us permission to use it in another manner, for example to add you to one of our mailing lists.

Distribution of Information
We may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place. The information is not provided to these companies for marketing purposes. We may share this information with your attorney. We may share this information with the court if so ordered / authorized by you and/or your attorney.

Commitment to Data Security
Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized analysts, investigators, agents and attorneys (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from us allow you to opt out of further mailings.

Data Recovery Storage
All recovered data is initially stored on one of our recovery workstations unless specified otherwise by you. Once your data is transferred to you, we retain the original data for 2-6 weeks to facilitate re-deployment of your data in the event of another data loss. After this time, your recovered data is permanently destroyed.

Forensics Data Storage
In Forensics cases, all recovered data is initially stored on one of our recovery workstations. Depending on the methodology employed to analyze your data, the information my reside in an Oracle database we utilize for indexing and reporting. Once your report is complete and data is transferred to you, we retain all materials, hard drives and recovered evidence for a period of one (1) year, stored in a secure, locked environment. After one year, your recovered data is permanently destroyed and drives securely wiped to be recycled.
