when the unthinkable

becomes reality...

When the unthinkable happens, and you delete that all-important file -- or worse yet, receive one of these messages:

  • Missing Operating System
  • Hard Drive Not Found
  • Invalid System Disk
  • Unmountable_Boot_Volume

We are here to help

CAUTION! If your computer has slowed down, locks up, is unresponsive or reboots, these are all possible signs of Hard Drive Failure. Unplug the power and call us immediately to prevent data loss!

If you have just returned from that once-in-a-lifetime vacation in Tibet and the removable media from your digital camera indicates you have no pictures on it, we can retrieve them.

Our data recovery experts can retrieve your data and restore it in record time. We routinely transfer data from 'old' computers to 'new' ones. Our typical turnaround time for data recovery is 24-48 hours. Shorter recovery times can be arranged at additional cost.

We utilize an array of different data recovery utilities depending on the nature of your problem. Eight full-time data recovery workstations mean your data can be recovered and returned to you in the shortest possible amount of time.

We provide data recovery services at your home or office via our Housecall Service, but most data recovery is best handled in our lab.

We service Dallas, Plano, Richardson, Allen, Frisco, McKinney, Carrollton, Lewisville and all of Collin, Denton and Dallas Counties. We will travel to any location to recover your data for the appropriate fee.

Pick up and delivery service can be arranged.

missing / deleted files

We can retrieve your Missing / Deleted:
  • Financial Records
  • Documents
  • Files / Folders
  • Pictures
  • Email messages

Caution!

If your Hard Drive is making 'clacking' sounds, turn it off immediately and call us. This is indicative of physical failure of the drive and the longer you run it, the worse your chance of recovering any data becomes.

When this happens, you need to enlist the services of a Data Recovery company with clean room facilities to recover your data..

Insurance Coverage for Data Recovery Services

There is a shift taking place in the insurance industry for both home-owners and renters insurance policy holders where they will often cover the cost to recover data. It may be covered under ‘loss of intellectual property’ or ‘loss of important papers and documents’. Of course it can be a great option but a high deductible may be a deterrent. It’s certainly worth looking into as more frequently we are seeing that coverage is being provided. DriveSavers recently did a recovery for a student who has lost his thesis and his recovery was covered completely by his renters insurance policy.

Generally, for businesses, they are covered under the ‘business continuity’ or ‘business interruption’ clause in their policies. Most businesses do have coverage for such events as they cannot move forward with the data being business critical. Additionally, fees incurred for data recovery services can be written off as a business expense at tax time. Customers should, of course, check with their accountants on this.
